 September McGee has just attained the Honorable Level of Signature Member status with the Pastel Society of the West Coast, CA and the Connecticut Pastel Society! Her painting "Symphony #3" just won an Honorable Mention with the Pastel Journal now on display in the April Issue! She is considered one of the most collectible figurative artists of today. Her paintings pulsate with nonpareil creative energy, offering an incredible palette of colors and deftly rendered strokes. McGee’s distinctive style blends Impressionism and Realism and is receiving critical acclaim from art critics and collectors the world over. Winner of fifteen national juried show awards since 2008 and accepted into over thirty prestigious national and international juried exhibitions, she recently launched several new exciting series: “Streets of New York”, “Streets of San Francisco”, “The Blues”, and her “Rainy Day Series”. Many of her works depict women enjoying libations which typically sell out when first débuted. Always striving for excellence and expanding her style and oeuvre, September McGee has established herself as an important American Painter. Her works are held in galleries and numerous private and public collections throughout the world. McGee is also a published author.
